The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing events across our venues, ensuring seamless coordination between venue managers, chefs, front-of-house staff, and external vendors. They will oversee all aspects of event planning, including booking entertainment, coordinating promotions, and managing event logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise events, including opening/closing parties, live music, après-ski, and special celebrations, from conception to execution
  • Liaise with venue managers, chefs, and front-of-house staff to coordinate event logistics, including food and beverage service, staffing, and setup
  • Source and book musicians, DJs, or other entertainment for events, negotiating contracts and ensuring all necessary equipment and accommodations are provided
  • Develop promotional strategies to attract attendees to events, working closely with the marketing team to create advertising materials and social media campaigns
  • Coordinate with the graphic designer to create event-specific materials such as invitations, signage, and promotional graphics
  • Purchase decorations, equipment, and any other supplies needed to fulfil event requirements within budget constraints
  • Ensure events run smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of event management software and tools preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Flexibility to work part-time during the summer season and full-time during the winter season
