The Marketing Specialist will develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our venues online and offline. They will manage all marketing channels including Google Ads, social media, in-resort marketing, PR and communications, and email marketing, and build and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourist offices, and venue managers. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will report on all marketing activities to assess performance and optimise strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customers to our venues
  • Manage social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, creating engaging content, monitoring activity, and responding to comments and messages
  • Monitor and respond to reviews on review sites such as TripAdvisor, Google, booking.com, and Expedia ensuring timely responses to maintain a positive brand reputation
  • Coordinate in-resort marketing efforts such as signage, promotions, and special events to attract tourists, seasonaires, and locals
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, chalet hosts/reps, OTA’s, tourist offices, and venue managers to create partnerships and collaborations
  • Coordinate and organise photo and video shoots to create visual content for marketing purposes including sourcing photographers, liaising with venue staff, purchasing props, hiring actors, and managing time and venues on the day of a shoot
  • Oversee PR and communications activities including press releases, media relations, and promotional events
  • Execute email marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive repeat business
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing channels and strategies, including Google Ads
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools
  • Fluency in English and French preferred
  • Flexibility to work part-time during the summer season and full-time during the winter season
